Do You Mind if I Borrow an Opinion?

Back to a little market sewing in between the great Caleb quilt marathon. Well actually Mathilda's market sent me an email asking for my photos of summer stuff, at which point there may of been swearing and then a stern call into action.
Summer linen/cotton pants for boys with a wide turn up cuff that can be shorts of 3/4 with an anchor button at the side and a Sprout fish pocket. Q1 - Glen thinks that they would only suit the younger boys should I make a Sz3 or only 1-2.
The bib dress is using that cute rabbit fabric from Amitie and a pink linen look skirt and lace straps. Q2 - Do you think that i need to add a rabbit pocket to the skirt?
At least the bizarre Melbourne weather gave us a little sunshine to get outside and take the photos I needed by Friday.
How funny is this out-take shot

Great photos! I would probably make a size 3 in the boys shorts because you may get a big 2 year old!? I think the bib dress is fine without a pocket on the skirt!

Well, in my humble opinion, I would include a size 3 in the shorts and although the bib dress looks lovely as is, I like it when pieces tie in together, so I think a matching pocket would be gorgeous. Does that help any ?

I would put my 3 year old in the pants if that helps. I think a pocket would be great on the dress - would join it together a bit more.

I think I'd skip the size 3 pants, but that's because I live near the beach and I'm imagining cuffs full of sand being tracked into my house.

I have no kids, so my advice is usually way off the mark! Are you coming back to Sydney for Mathildas or just your local?

Both so so cute (and the clothes too) :P I would include size 3 as well..And I love the dress, but definetly would love to see a pocket on it. :)

So cute!
Go a size 3 and I reckon a bunny pocket would look divine.

I would put a 3 year old in the short, or even a 4 year old.

As for the pocket, yes I would too, or perhaps a rabbit applique?

I'm with Glen on the pants. If you did a size three I would reduce the amount of contrast fabric, maybe just a strip on the seams or even reduce the depth of the cuff.

I'd put a pocket on the pinny but I wouldn't do it on contrast rather I'd do the same red.

That's tricky - It's very hard trying to imagine what will be popular and what wont. I would make 1 or 2 pants in the size 3 and see what the reaction is, I really like this stylew of pant, it's really classy but still fun. The dress is so cute, those rabbits will be a hit. I adore pockets so I would add to the skirt.

That pinnie is too cute and a pocket would look great! I would put my fella in the pants so definitely make some size 3s.

Your models are pros aren't they? Gorgeous photos.

I think a size three would be great - but maybe just do a couple and take orders if you sell out.

And my kids love pockets on everything so highly recommend them.

Both outfits are so cute! Size 3 would be great in the pants - I think a 3-4 year old would love them. The dress is precious and a bunny pocket would add to it. How about a surprise bunny applique on the back as well?

for the pants- i like the design but for an older (4+) kid might make less of a cuff and more contemporary fabrics?

the dress - i think that woujld sell pocket or no pocket!

Yes to size 3... they are super cute pants and would absolutely suit a 3 year old boy. I say no to the pocket. The red buttons on the front panel tie in with the shirt. Looks great as is. And your kids are doing a fab modelling job!

Not sure about the boys sizes - it really depends who comes along on the day. The dress looks good as it is but I think a pocket would be a cute addition as well.

See you at Mathilda's. Lou.

I absolutely love the shorts. I actually really want an adult sized pair. I'd love some jeans with cute lining like that! I reckon a matching pocket would also be great.

go to size 3, make it pre-school. Will you have a size 4 option in another style/fabric combo, or will you do babies - 3yrs as your size range for summer?

Miffy print is sooooooo adorable!! I'd leave as is, maybe a trouser with pocket???

Always amazing Cind!!
