My Creative Space

I have been trying to take the last market of the year casually, but I fear I am an all or nothing kinda gal. I will try not to drown you in it. I had it in my brain the market was on the 29th but it is actually on the 22nd November, which I had convinced myself was a long way off. Hmmm not so much. I have been trying some new designs out this week for new girl dresses. I am constantly trying to weigh up detail and design versus time and actually making some money. I think these couple of prototypes and one that Poppy has inherited will look quite sweet when finished.
More creativity over at Kirsty's house - you can book mark her now you know (boom boom)

Yikes! I can imagine the small conniption that small realisation must have inspired. Very pleased you worked that one out while it was still October mind you.

Hey, nice ruffles.

The crafty dilemma... do you make it the best you can in lots of time or make it OK in profitable time? I hope you find somewhere in the middle that makes you happy.

Really, really sweet Cindy! I love these little dresses. Bummer about losing a week, but I have faith in you - you CAN do it! x

They look fabulous. I always try to let the fabric do the walking re visual effects... less time consuming than details most people may not even notice ;) K

I love Poppys little ruffles. I'm wearing a top with little ruffly sleeves just like that today too. She has great taste!

I've been trying to convince myself that it is actually ages away, but you're right... Should start thinking about that market. Hey, I s'pose I'll see you there! The dresses are looking lovely :)

I've calculated that you work about 29 hours a day ... so I think you still have a spare week up your sleeve!

The prototype and the model are divine!

Cute little dresses!

I too would like a few extra days/weeks before the last market. It's going to be my first so I want to make it a real good one!

The pink floral with the striped ruffle is too sweet. Good luck with getting organised for the markets, may the sewing force be with you.
