It is beautiful, it is in french, it is about destiny and our place in life as a random piece of luck despite our planned intentions. Three Colours Red is the final in the 3 Colours trilogy, and a beautiful close. Thanks to Hokey for reminding me that I haven't seen it for way too long, I will rectify this soon, with popcorn and a few solitary moments peace.
More cinema fun at Three Buttons.

I haven't heard of that one but it sounds intriguing...
Oh! I'm a big fan of Bleu. Kiewlowski is pretty great. You've got a terrific pick!
I remember a night when I first started going out with my husband, that's about 14 years ago, sitting three the whole trilogy at the Astor Cinema in St Kilda. I had two choc tops (one in each interval) and there were a few nod offs too.
I'm going to add this one (and the rest of the trilogy - with subtitles of course!) to the DVD list!
I'd forgotten all about this trilogy... haven't seen for many years. Nice choice!
have never seen it but i do love french cinema- thanks for the recommendation
