As an ode to our desky fabulousness host Kooyotoo - it is a bit of red today. I had a hard lesson in karma last night, I have one order left and a few fiddly bits to finish up, but instead of knocking them over, the excitement of doing something new lured me off my path. My punishment was the rotary cutter kissing my finger and forgeting to pull up the thread holder thing on my overlocker till the grinding noise alerted me to the fact that something was not right. Tonight though I will not be distacted by this cute little bloomer set and I will get back to my jobs list, me and all my 9 fingers.

Very very cute to boot.
It is a very very cute bloomer set - I can see how you might get distracted. But it may have looked better in pink.....ha ha only kidding my young padawan.
What a sweet little set.
A few nights ago when I was rotary cutting my bias binding, I sliced off the end of a fingernail. A close call! And my usual trick with the overlocker is to forget to put the presser foot down. That makes a good noise and an impossible knot!
Eeek! I hope your poor finger is ok....those rotary cutters are fantastic but dangerous!
Cute bloomers..
AH... the old rotary cutter over the finger trick.... I did that one last week.... ummmm... twice.
LOVE the bloomer set!!!
So, so cute! Sorry about the finger!
Ahh..ninefingered sewing...a common occurrence over here! Last time was a week or sew when I split my thumb open with..a fork. Don't ask.
I am a sucker for distractions, give me an idea and I am away - SO BAD!! Love what you made though, oh, and I hope your finger feels better!
Lots of red loveliness. Thank you Cindy.
Hope you're OK.
ouch! Hope you didn't do too much damage Cindy. I love the set though... and I agree that Kooyotoo red on my desk was inspiring.
i do that too! it is so fun to start something new!
