There was an idea for a little cape with slit arm holes that even though wasn’t going to be red but decided it had to be. The ladybug pockets speak for themselves and just enough of one of my favourite fabrics with ladybugs to line the hood. It isn’t quite how I pictured it in my head but loving the retro feel - Even the sad snotty child seemed impressed.

Those pockets are ace!
Having seen the ladybug coat in action, I can confirm it’s bees knee-ness. ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU MADE THIS ONE UP FROM SCRATCH? NO PATTERN? NO NUFFIN'? Jeepers.
I think the ladybird pockets are genius.
Oh that is so cute!!!
I love ladybirds. ACE.
Cute ladybird pockets! Very clever
Cute! Love the little pockets, I think those would be perfect to cheer up any sad sniffy child!
I haven't commented for a while but had to let you know I still keep up with your adventures and creations! This cape is fabulous and so clever, I have to say there is a market for this sort of cape...loving the ladybird pockets, they are brilliant!
eeeek, those pockets are SO cute!
Love it!
Hope the child is happier and less snotty.
Andi :-)
