This is easily the longest panel and definitely into the 10’s of hours, but darn it if it isn’t my favourite as well. There were hopes that the last 3 panels would be finished by the end of the week, but ummm no. Original from here.
My beloved lap quilt on the other hand is only a couple of lines and some binding away from completion. This is my first machine ‘quilting’ (and that term is being used LOOSELY) and although hand quilting is still my beloved there is a lot to be said for quick.
Go and be instantly gratified at Kirst’s (in the crafty sense that is)

too clever :)
both are look unbelievably wonderful xo
YAY for a quick project (and great quilt might I say) to reinvigorate you for the longer-haul ones. I can see why you're spending the time on the panel though... very spunky.
Loving both projects! Bring your stitching over tomorrow x
Your stitching is a so beautiful! I really like the lap quilt too - nice choice of prints, that's for sure.
And quick is good.

I really love that embroidery - its looking fantastic.
I wish there was a "quick" way to become good at embroidery - this practicing thing is very hard!
Wow to both of your lovely things!! Oh the patience you must have. Gorgeous!!
ooooooh lap quilt - I am envious - it is so chilly now that I have taken to stealing the kids baby blankets.
The embroidery is fantastic and well worth the effort I say
