Holidaying at Home

Flying our new kite at the park.

Running around at the zoo - we did see amimals too.

Checking out Puffing Billy.
We are just enjoying life in Melbourne and getting out and enjoying all the good local stuff as much as possible. Hope you all are enjoying your time together.
Happy new year to you all, hope lots of smiles and crafty goodness awaits all of us. Thanks so much to everyone who has taken time to read and comment. It really means so much to me and helped encourage me forward.

Happy New Year Cindy. It's been so lovely to read your blog every day and meet you in person. I hope 2009 is even better!

Happy New Year!!! We're actually going to Puffing Billing today. It's going to be a top of 14 degrees....bbbbrrrrr!!!!! Going to freeze our unaclimatised Queensland butts off I think :P
Looking forward to it though. A day in the Dandenongs is always nice - even if a little cold. Hope you're having a great start to the new year. Cheers, Bec.

Makes me realise how little I know Sydney! We should get out and about too!
Thanks for providing me with some fantastic reads, and I can't wait to see you at Mathilda's!!

Puffing billy - another place I haven't visited for years. Someone posted a photo from Sovereign Hill which made me realise that would be a fun destination too. I must make a list!
