My Creative Space

Not much at all as it feels like i have been zapped of any energy, Glen’s new work trousers needed shortening, a bit of embroidery and not much else.

creative space 001On the cards for this week, new school has  non-compulsory uniform so Caleb voted for his own clothes so the pant-athon is about to whip into full swing. There are plans for some Oliver + S ones, but longer length and some simple elastic waist ones. I was contemplating a pile of shirts too, but just not enough hours in the day.creative space 002

love that Oliver + S pattern - happy sewing and what a fortunate boy to have a crafty mum!

Lots of changes, good luck with them and the sewing. There is never enough hours in the day, if I ever find the stash of spares I'll send some your way :)

Being time poor is my greatest frustration!
Oh I do hope Caleb has a great time at his new school. Great new pants should be the ticket to a fun first day.
Not good at all to be sapped of energy when all this change is happening. Your embroidery is looking amazing as usual - keep making time for it - you probably need the meditative aspect of it now while everything is so hectic.

I love it when there's sewing that "just has to be done" but can also be easily considered a bit of fun for us sewists! Win:win!

Nothing like a few new pairs of duds when you start a new school. Hope he (and you) love it.

Goodness. I have been HOPELESS keeping up with stuff lately. You know what I reckon? Baby step changes. You sound like you need lots of TLC and sleep and I'm betting Caleb won't mind a jot if his new trousers arrive later. Just mention the chooks!
