Summer Daze

Sunday Morning 004

Caleb finally got goggles on at swimming lessons this week, I was so proud. I has only taken 7 lessons.   He isn’t going underwater anytime soon I don’t think but this is progress.

Sunday Morning 012

I am not sure when we became so pink, apparently one night while I was sleeping perhaps?

Sunday Morning 023

Got my haircut for the first time in about 18 months – feel like a new woman.  I had to laugh when she asked me which side I blow dried on, the only time it ever gets that kind of attention is the hair dresser!

My Mum says I have always loved getting my hair cut. It made me 'lighter'. (I have always found this confusing. Surely hair doesn't weigh that much and how could she tell just by looking?). Looks great!

The haircut looks fab, now all you need is a matching pair of goggles ;)

Love you new hair cut Cindy! Was it a birthday treat? I rarely get my hair cut and coloured and am always made to feel guilty by the hairdresser when I do! Naughty me, cutting my own fringe!

How cute is Caleb in the googles?! He looks proud of himself too. :)

You are one heck of a glamour. Love the new 'do. It's a great investment I think (having recently decided that I NEED to go to the hairdresser regularly). I love your hair. Foxy. x

Your hair looks gorgeous Cindy. I totally know what you mean about the blow drying. The only reason I own a hair dryer is to use it for crafting.

Caleb is pretty cute in his groovy goggles.

Cindy you look so beautiful, such a sweet portrait of the two of you.
I hear you with the haircut - I feel like I'm dragging along a tonne of hair at the moment - pregnancy hair - so long and thick and knotty that I never wear it down anymore. But finding the time/cash/motivation for a cut never happens... after seeing this pic I think you may have inspired me to get on with it.

Hi Cindy,
I stumbled across your blog on a link from waffling alongs. I think Caleb was in the same swimming class as my daughter for the week and your daughter had a tutu swimming sit on one day? Small world huh??!

Your blog looks great ... so creative!

Whit whoo, that's me whistling at your pretty hair.

My Cherub wouldn't wear *gobbles* at first and then at the end of one of his lessons he suddenly said "Mummy I can see underwater with my gobbles on". It was an epiphany. Yes, sweetie. Yes, you can.
