So I would LOVE to show you my finished Colette pattern dress that I have been waiting to have a photographer on hand for and the progress I have made on the gorgeous fabric I showed off last year, but I can't as the love of my life - who for the rest of this post shall be called the idiot - dropped our camera in the duck pond this morning. Quite an effort really considering he was standing at least 3 feet from it. Apparently he was cleaning it - well it is real clean now! He asked if he should dive in and get it. I should of said yes just to of made him pay. I didn't as I am a nice girl. Look forward to next week's fun theme of Victorian Duck Bums, the best very clean pictures all week.

Sorry, I shouldn't laugh bu that really is rather funny!!
I want to see what photos the ducks take now they have a camera!
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Well I hope that you will be joining the duck bums Flickr pool, to show off those fabbo underwater snaps.
Hmmm, I think he should have jumped in to save it!!!
So frustrating! OUr camera has gone missing and we borrowed my mum's which has now stopped working. We are cursed! I feel your pain.
How dare he ask! He should have just jumped in. Dived in, in fact. Doesn't he know how important a camera is to a blogger. How did the camera even make it into his grubby little mitts anyway. Maybe it was sabotage. Maybe it's a cry for help - what about me? Thanks for the story - I laughed and laughed! xx
Uh oh!!
OMG - but very funny.
I'd love to hear a review of the collete pattern...My daughter wants me to sew some...
*snort* but at the same time - Oh NOOOOO!!!
Oh no!!! I am so protective of my camera..Would just die if mine were lost that way. Hope you have a replacement soon!
Ooops!
Oh Glen!!!
Oh no!!!!
oh no! but a little bit funny! but also devastating!
oh no! you are too nice, i definately would have said 'get it' hehe.
i really want to see how the colette pattern went too but i will be staying tuned for ducks bums ; 0
I'm so sorry, don't be too hard on him.....it's the kind of thing I'd do. And I'd feel terrible for ages after!
Oh no :(
You know, I worked for a guy once who in some areas was quite the genius, but when he dropped his electronic organiser into a pond, then put it in the microwave to "dry it out"!
ooops! :D
He he he... They are not really good with delicate things sometimes are they?! Last time my 'idiot' did that, he dropped it in a pan of apricot chicken. It stank for weeks!
