Eye Spy .. A Collection

Liesl's theme for this week I think is a really fun one but I am really struggling to find a collection of my own. Not that I don't have stuff, much to Glen's frustration I am all about the stuff, but nothing as well thought out as a collection. I have quite the fabric stash but I never buy anything for the purpose of "just adding it", I usually have something in mind when I buy it - does that give you an indication as to how many works in progress I have in my head.
Caleb on the other hand is collecting mad. As soon as he gets a toy he loves to flip over to the back and check out what he still "needs" to complete them all - he has cars, books, trains, transformers, footy cards (and we don't even follow AFL) - you get the idea. I am not sure if that is a boy thing or a child thing. I can remembering as a child I loved collecting stuff for the sake of it, I shall have to find that inner child again I think.
Thanks so much to Liesl. You can join in anytime, just add your link after you have posted below so we can all find you.
I have really enjoyed eye-spying but I am wondering if you guys still want to keep up with it - let me know what you think.

Well as you've seen, we have large collections of much the same here. Maybe its a boy thing?! (Thanks for letting me choose the theme)

I have enjoyed Eye Spy. I'm happy to keep playing or even to do something a bit different. Its nice to have that "date" for Sunday!

yeah I think its a guy thing lol

I really enjoy trying to find something to post on Sunday, so if you do decide to stop keeping it up I probably would still do it :)

I'm the same- I don't really collect anything specific- but I used to. My Caleb has all sorts of little collections. Including a gumnut collection.

As for Eye Spy, I am easy either way. I just join in when I can. I appreciate you hosting as always.

I've been away from my blog for a couple of months but I'm back now.
If you keep doing Eye Spy, I definitely will as well!

Hi Cindy! I have been mostly offline for quite a while, but trying to get back. I hope you keep eye-spy going, I hope to get back to playing soon! If finding people to give themes is part of the trouble - why not collect a whole load of themes from people and then dole them out for a while?

You're right, as a kid life is all about collections. And with birthdays and christmases the collections seemed to fill right up super fast. I would finish one and move onto the next. I remember having rubbers, stickers, novelty soaps, ornaments in a shadow box, pirot clowns, old fashion porcelain dolls, porcelain masks, small teddy bears, then I think I moved onto Boy George posters, and it was all up hill from there ;)

P.S. I love eye-spy. I've just been busy lately, or have found the topics sometimes sort-of-repeat at times. But I still love playing when I can. :)

Hi there.

I remember my brothers being avid collector of "things." Perhaps it is a boy thing!

I'm a relative newby to blogging so I'm all for keeping eye spy. I'll try and be more committed in future!

I might not have posted eye-spy for a few weeks but I love it and always read what everyone else has written.

Hi Cindy, just wanted to say I love playing Eyespy. I forgot to add my link this week, but I had posted about my collection. I look forward to finding out what the new theme is - thinking about it, and visiting other blogs to see their take on it. Keeps things interesting. Thanks so much for hosting, Laurel xx
