I am surrounded by so much inspiration, sometimes I don't even realise - I just need to take a breath and let my mind wonder - do you ever get like that? Blog-land is a wealth of gold, too many to list here. Below is some inspiration for the one million things rattling around in my brain at the moment. I think it I didn't spread my brain over so much I could actually be quite smart - that is my story and I am sticking to it. Drawing some ideas for this summers outfits and some quitling research and other bits that are just sweet.Sailors

I love May Gibbs. Beautiful and timeless. As a little girl, I loved Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, and used to play with gumnuts and imagine the stories. Now my boys enjoy having me read her stories to them.
No child should grow up without a spot of May Gibbs, (she types, as she realises she completely missed an opportunity for a seamless segue when the kids were making gumnut babies at school last week...)
Glad to have a chance to play again!! I'll check back in a bit to see who else has joined in and visit them. thanks again, Cindy!
Lovely theme, inspiration. There is so much that can inspire in the world and I think it's lovely to read what those things are for other people!
I never heard of May Gibbs by the way. But reading these comments makes me want to check out who she is. I'll do that :-)
Thanks for hosting!
that is a very nice quilt :D great colours to inspire a person with.
I love your story and definately think you should stick to it! And if someone questions you, you tell them it's "your" story, so you know how it goes...!!!
Hi Cindy, I'm joining you for the first time. I enjoy reading your blog and often get crafty inspiration from you as well as other blogs and things you link to. Thanks!
I have dropped the ball on eye spy lately, but I intend to get back on board with it!
I'm with Sherrin, I loved Snugglepot and Cuddlepie and have my books still for Cohen. I also love Enid Blyton and love reading them to him at night. Love the proper english, it sounds rather fancy now. :)
I'm inspired by that button heart image.
Great theme!
I still have a May Gibbs book. I also went and visited her house in Balmain, Sydney which is now a museum. I recommend going to see it if you happen to be in that area. So lovely!
hooray for May Gibbs - she is definately an Aussie Icon and inspiration!
your right about the vastness of inspiration out there - it's boggling :)
