Welcolme to the Zoo

I am not sure at what point you can start charging admission, but here is the latest additions to our zoo. Two little girl guinea pigs, named Sid and Dave (?) have been added to the dog, cat, fish and children exhibits. We do not mind if you pat the animals at the zoo but please be aware that if you do feed them they may follow you home and we do have a no returns policy. The photo is of Sid, Dave is a little more timid so I think she may have to wait for a photo debut.

Dave sure is an interesting name for a girl...don't you think human names for animals is so funny, we have 2 guinea pigs; Pumpkin, a good normal animal name and then there's Eddie! We just love our piggies, they are so easy to care for and make for good cuddling.

How sweet. Keep handling them as much as possible so that they can build trust. GP's are such nervous little souls! I love Caleb's obvious joy.

How funny that you have included the "children" in the same group as guinea pigs, dog, cat, fish exhibits! Maybe one more exhibit will allow you to start charging!

Much more fitting names than the ones I chose for my guinea pigs many years ago. The first (an award winner at the 4-H show, I might add) was "Spot Elvira". The second more a scraggly beast was "Hairy Brown"

Will you be crafting little outfits for the new exhibits? Any ideas what the latest trends in guinea pig fashion are?

My Mum always said that we couldn't have anymore pets because there were enough animals in our house, and we had no pets! Just us three kids... hmmm...

I love animals and pets. They are such a great way to learn so many valuable things especially for children. Good luck Cindy! I hope you all have lots of fun with them. :)
