Eye Spy .. Season Change

Sorry I am late again, I was hoping to post last night but ended up falling asleep at the computer so I went to bed at 9:30 and am still feeling guilty about all those lost hours. The weather was a little warmer on the week-end even though not overly sunny so I innocently put on a skirt. Caleb came running up to me, "Oh mummy you look like a princess" with this funny smile on his face, Poppy was grinning and pulling at my skirt saying "pretty" and Glen asked if I was going out somewhere, which we weren't. I am not sure if that is a compliment or an indication of what they really all think about my usual jeans attire?! Glen is always nagging for me to wear skirts but in winter in Melbourne I always end up in the trusty jeans.
The pictures are from the park yesterday morning, lots of new things blooming and new little ducklings as well.
Thanks so much to Lisa for the great theme, and I am hoping that Sally can help us out with next week's theme. You can join in anytime, just add your link after you have posted below so we can all find you and it doesn't matter what day of the week that you do it.
I seem to keep saying that after the markets or after the 'something' I will have more time but I seem to have less and less so please forgive me for being a less commenty then usual - I am enjoying reading and hope to get on top of everything soon.

You shouldn't feel guilty about falling asleep at 9.30 - you must have really needed the sleep!

They are lovely photos.

With my cat waking me up daily anywhere from 4 am to 5 am, I go to sleep on the couch around 9:30 too!

Love the ducks -- must go duck feeding at the park with my granddaughter soon!

Thanks so much for asking me to choose next week's theme - I've decided on - "Eye Spy - an inspirational person in my life".
Great photos of the park & good on you for wearing a skirt. After a winter my legs are in no condition to show to anyone ...not even my nearest & dearest - my legs are so white they're likely to blind someone!!!

What lovely photos! Don't worry about being late!

I know what you mean about the "lost hours", but really sleep is the most important thing!

Hope you are getting enough rest time in your very busy schedule.

Looks like you had a gorgeous day out. We're trying to enjoy all the beautiful sunny days before 'the big wet' arrives again.

Tee hee! There's always a needle off the record moment with my family when I emerge out of the jeans and into a skirt!

That's so funny about the skirt! I'm sure it is a compliment, boys just aren't always very good at those! My husband prefers me in jeans and a t-shirt, while I am rather fond of dresses and skirts! :)

Love the pics too. Ducklings are the perfect embodiment of season change.

Me likey Mister Linky! I haven't seen this before, very cool device!

I'm usually one step down from jeans in yoga pants that double as nana-nap jammies ;)
